Lime for whitewashing trees, it is ideal for whitewashing all varieties of fruit trees, protects plants against pests and prevents freezing.

The Biovita tree bleaching lime is a product of natural origin. Lime does not contain toxic substances, it is 100% safe for plants. The ingredients contained in the product increase the adhesion of the solution to the trunk or branches of trees. The product is ideal for protecting plants against pests and strengthens their resistance to low temperatures. Lime also deacidifies the soil, it can be sprinkled on the lawn to eliminate moss. or apply to a vegetable plot if the soil pH is too acidic.

Whitewashing

The optimal period of use is from October to April. If necessary, e.g. in the event of heavy rainfall, the treatment can be repeated every 3-4 weeks. The product is harmless to plants. Bleaching should be performed on a rainless, preferably sunny day at a temperature above 0 C. Pour 2l of water into a container of an appropriate capacity, then, avoiding dusting, gradually pour the lime and mix it. The finished lime for bleaching should have the consistency of thick cream. If necessary, the amount of water can be increased. Apply the prepared suspension, observing the recommended precautions, evenly with a brush on the trunks of trees and shrubs.

Soil deacidification – liming

Before liming, it is good to check the pH of the soil with a pH meter. We de-acidyfy in the fall, after the end of vegetation, or in early spring. In order to avoid dusting, the treatment should be performed in windless weather, sprinkling lime in a thin layer on the soil in the amount of about 2 kg per 25 m2. After scattering, mix the lime with the soil, e.g. using metal rakes. During liming, avoid dusting and inhalation, and protect the eyes and skin.
